PO
Pain and inflammation - diclofenac Na: 75-150 mg/day in divided doses. Max: 150 mg/day.
Migraine - diclofenac K: Initial: 50 mg taken at 1st sign of attack, repeat 2 hr later if needed and subsequently 4-6 hrly if needed. Max: 200 mg/day.

Post-op pain - diclofenac Na: 75 mg infusion, may repeat 4-6 hr later if needed. Max period: 2 days.
Prophylaxis of post-op pain - diclofenac Na: Initial: 25-50 mg via infusion after surgery followed by 5 mg/hr, may repeat after 4-6 hr. Max: 150 mg/day. Max period: 2 days.

Pain and inflammation - diclofenac Na: 75 mg once daily, may increase to 75 mg bid in severe conditions. Max period: 2 days.
Adverse drug reactions: oedema, tachycardia, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal pain or cramps, flatulence, vomiting, dyspepsia, oesophagitis, gastritis, glossitis, stomatitis, changes in appetite, pancreatitis (w/ or w/o hepatitis), thirst, colitis, colon ulcer and distress. Headache, dizziness, anxiety, asthenia, confusion, depression, abnormal dreams, drowsiness, insomnia, malaise, nervousness, paraesthesia, somnolence, tremors, irritability, and vertigo. Interstitial nephritis, acute renal failure, nephrotic syndrome, renal papillary necrosis, liver function abnormalities.
