Referral criteria
- Brain metastases, spinal cord compression, or neoplastic meningitis
- Karnofsky < 50 or ECOG > 3
- Malignant hypercalcemia
- Metastatic or locally advanced cancer progressing despite systemic treatments
- Progressive pleural/peritoneal or pericardial effusions
