Alison Ramsey, BA

As the IAHPC Senior Editor, Alison edits entries for Pallipedia. In this role, she ensures that the terms and definitions in the dictionary, meet high quality linguistic standards.

In addition to her role with Pallipedia, she also organizes and edits the content of the IAHPC Pallinews, which keeps members informed about international advocacy, curates positive local and regional stories, and publishes educational reports and features from IAHPC members, its board, and staff to support and advance palliative care globally. 

Alison joined the IAHPC at the end of 2017 after working as a reporter then editor of community newspapers, magazine feature story writer, and researcher for Reader’s Digest Canada. She also served as managing editor of the Journal of Palliative Care.
