Agitation (psychomotor agitation)

  1. Excessive motor activity associated with a feeling of inner tension.
    The activity is usually nonproductive and repetitious and consists of such behavior as pacing, fidgeting, wringing of the hands, pulling of clothes, and inability to sit still.
